Day 1: Welcome to Osaka, Japan

Upon arrival at Osaka Kansai Airport, the guide will meet you and escort you to your car, transfer to your hotel, free on your own in the rest of the day, overnight in Osaka

Pick up at hotel, visit Osaka Castle, Expo 70 Commemorative Park (with over 5000 cherry trees), The Umeda Sky Building, Umeda district, Shinsekai, overnight in Osaka

Day 3: Nara and Kyoto Arashiyama tour

Visit the Todaiji Temple(a World Heritage site), Nara Park(encounter the adorable wild deer, which is a rare in the world), Arashiyama Sagano Bamboo Grove, Togetsu-kyo Bridge(250-meter-long bridge in Arashiyama, good spots for viewing cherry blossoms or colored autumn leaves), overnight in Kyoto

Day 7: Shirakawa-go tour

Visit Takayama Morning Market(a wide array of local specialties and other products are available), transfer to Shirakawa-go, visit Ogimachi village(a world heritage, thatch-roofed village, great for photography), Gassho-zukuri Folk Village & Wada House, Ainokura Village(a world heritage, similar with Ogimachi village, but quieter and sees less tourist traffic, highly recommend overnight at a farmhouse ), transfer to Kanazawa, overnight in Kanazawa

DT offers a flexible and a convenient way for us to only go to places we want to go. Being a private tour, it allows us to customise and as such, see more places than conventional tours. We had a fuss free and enjoyable time in Japan, thanks to Abby and her ground crew. Our driver, Cavin was excellent throughout, very considerate and careful. He even went to the extent to make sure my wife only bought local Japanese biscuits n delicacies from local (cheaper n more variety) shops rather than from touristy shops. We travelled in comfortable and clean Toyota Alphard throughout our journey. They can get closer to certain sites which are surrounded by narrow roads or alleys.
